Change is in the Air
It’s been awhile since I’ve updated my blog and I apologize to anyone that’s been checking for updates. There have been things happening that have displaced my time spent blogging. One was that I took a class that kept me pretty busy for the last 6 weeks. So busy that I didn’t want to look at my computer when I got home in the evening. Another event was that my husband took a job in another city, Eugene, OR, and we’ve been gearing up for that move. Lots of stuff to deal with. We both worked for the same college and he has been my tech support for 10 years. I relied on him for just about everything that had to do with computers or climbing ladders or crawling under things even before we became a couple. Tuesday was his last day on the job here and it’s left a huge hole, not only for me, but for everyone else he supported.
I guess my blog title will have to change when I move up to be with him. That won’t happen before school’s out for the year. The title might be Knitting on the McKenzie River or Knitting on the Willamette River. Maybe Knitting along Fern Ridge Reservoir.
One plus is that I won’t have to find a place to stay during Black Sheep Gathering.
Even though I haven’t been blogging and have been busy taking a class and preparing for hubby to move I have still been knitting, spinning, and weaving. More about those activities tomorrow.

My first thought when you said Eugene was ‘she will be closer to Black Sheep Gathering and the guild.’ I wish you all the best in Eugene. I look forward to bumping into you again at Black Sheep.
