Mom’s Lace Scarf
This is an easy lace pattern that’s also reversible.
Materials: Scarf 1 – Plymouth Yarn Baby Alpaca – DK weight, 125 yds to 50 grams – 3 balls. Knitting needles, 5.00mm (US 8.0). 2 stitch markers. Scarf 2 was knit by my daughter using handspun yarn over 18 stitches and a size 10 needle.
Cast on 39 stitches, or any multiple of 3 with 6 edge stitches.
Rows 1-6: Knit
Row 7: Knit 3, *k1, yo, k2tog, repeat from * ending k3
Repeat row 7 to desired length leaving enough yarn to work 6 rows of garter stitch (knit every row). Bind off, wash and block.
